About VDC
The Venous Disease Coalition (VDC) is a collaborative network of professional and public organizations united by one mission to increase public and health professional awareness of venous disease.
Venous diseases, a common cause of death and disability, are a spectrum of disorders that include deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and chronic venous disease due to the post-thrombotic syndrome or primary valvular insufficiency.
